HKS’ pursuit of the perfect “Sound” had to satisfy several factors
- A sporty sound to heighten the experience during sports driving.
- When driving slowly, listening to the audio system or conversation with other passengers is possible
- When idling during late night/early morning use, noise levels are reduced to not disturb neighbours.
These requests received from the end users have been realised using all of HKS’ latest muffler sound control technology to produce a muffler which can give an unprecedentedly refreshing yet powerful high frequency sound whilst being able to deliver a much quieter sports sound during idling and low load driving.
SSM Mufflers for Z33 and Z34 350/370Z uses specifically designed silencers with carefully selected pipe length to control the sound. Piping is arranged in loop like a french horn to further tune the sound. Tig welding and full polished SUS304 grade stainless steel ensures that the muffler looks as good as it sounds.
HKS introduces the newly re-designed Racing Suction Reloaded intake systems. These intake systems feature HKS’ new Reloaded air filter assembly which maintains HKS’ race proven and patented Super Funnel design, but also incorporates new technical advances for improved performance and filtration.
The Racing Suction Reloaded intake series utilizes HKS’ high-flowing wet 2-layer dual density polyurethane filter element for applications looking for the absolute in performance. The Racing Suction Reloaded intake kits offer the same simple and easy filter element replacement process as previous generations; avoiding the need to wash or re-oil the intake filter.
- New Super Honeycomb frame allows for 30% more intake surface area for improved throttle response.
- Filter assembly features a new streamline inner frame that reduces weight and allows for air to flow more smoothly into the engine.
