DEFI BOOST METER AND HKS TURBO TIMER ON 200SX

Defi-Link Meters are electronic gauges which are high response and refined design.
Defi-Link Meters need to be connected to Defi-Link Control Unit II. Up to 7 gauges can be connected and controlled by one Control Unit II. The name of the connection system is "Defi-Link System."
Defi-Link System allows gauges to be attached to Defi-Link Control Unit II with a single "DAISY CHAIN" wiring system.

Each gauge has two LEDs. One LED illuminates when the gauge pointer exceeds a warning value which is discretionary with the Control Unit II. The other LED illuminates when the gauge pointer exceeds a past maximum value.


Gorgeous Opening mode:
During the opening mode, wire disconnections, short circuits, and serial errors are checked automatically. When errors are found, LEDs light up in order.

Full-lineup: boost(for turbocharged and supercharged engines), intake manifold pressure(for natural aspirated engine), oil pressure, water temperature, oil temperature, fuel pressure, exhaust gas temperature and tachometer. White and black gauge dials are available.

A bright transparent green gauge dial and a red instrument needle pointer are used in the gauges to increase visibility at night and in low-light conditions.





The scale of 4 1/2" gauges and 3 1/8" gauges is compressed to acquire great visibility and ease of use.
*Wide-angle scale is used at the idling range 0~1,000RPM.
*The scale is fitted to recent engine power band and linear scale is used from 3,000RPM to 11,000RPM.


Regular Position Bezel is attached to 52mm(2 1/16") and 60mm(2 3/8") gauges. The bezel enable user to find a subtle change in car by setting the position of the red triangle depending on the driving situation. The bezel is removable.

Some kinds of meter hoods and visor cannot be installed in combination withe the bezel. Please refer to the page of bezel.

Driving data can be stored and can be replayed up to 3 minutes.(*1)

Double Warning function by a meter's LED lamp and a beep(*2)

If Defi-Link Indicator(sold separately) is connected, it blinks when any of connected meters' warning LED lights.

Defi-Link Indicator can be connected with each meter.
(Defi-Link Indicator is standard option for 4 1/2" and 3 1/8" Defi-Link Meters.)

Differential pressure between fuel pressure and turbo can be shown if both of fuel pressure meter and turbo meter are installed.(*3)

HKS TURBO TIMER

The Most populgadget in Brunei! Turbo Timer Type-0 features a red LCD backlit display for easy visibility, 2 timer modes, and a battery voltage meter with a peak value indication and warning function.

The Turbo Timer Type-1 features a light blue LCD backlit display and has the same basic timing and voltage features as the Type-0 plus several monitoring and measurement functions. The Turbo Timer Type-1 features an Auto mode for the timer function allowing the Turbo Timer to automatically calculate optimum idling time according to the most recent driving pattern. Vehicle speed and RPM can be displayed on the Type-1's LCD monitor and a speed warning level can be set. A two-stage RPM warning can also be set and used as a shift indicator. When a warning level is reached the Type-1's LCD monitor will blink and an audible beep will sound. The HKS Turbo Timer Type-1 also features various measurement functions including 1/4 mile timer, 0-60 timer and a stopwatch function that can be used for lap timing. The Turbo-Timer Type-1 can read in either MPH/SAE or KPH/Metric.
